Dayparting comes to Yahoo Pay-Per-Click!
For years now I have had to login Friday at 5pm to shut off select accounts only to resume them again Monday morning. Thanks to Yahoo stepping up this is now a thing of my past.
The ability to daypart Yahoo PPC ads comes as great news for those of us who have managed this manually in the past. The Yahoo Dayparting will particularly help manage B2B campaigns, and accounts where ROI drops off on weekends and over night.
Google bestowed the wonderful world of dayparting on us years ago I wondered if Yahoo would ever deliver. Thankfully they did. Like Google, Yahoo did not goes as far as putting a bulk edit feature on this tool so you have to set each campaign individually.
To target your ad delivery click the edit campaign settings link and you will see a new Ad Scheduling box in the bottom right. Click edit and it brings up the window to daypart your Yahoo ads. It appears like this:
